    Derby v Swansea

Derby County v Swansea City Wed 27 Nov 20:00
Well one positive outcome from the Leeds match was that we actually scored more than one goal. Unusually our defence let us down, conceding four.
We must learn how to manage games when in the ascendancy in the final minutes of matches, where too often we?ve conceded and lost points .
On to our second of three matches in a week and its Championship newcomers Derby County, fresh up from League One and doing very nicely thank you in 11th place. They had spent two seasons in League One after relegation from the Championship, going into administration with a huge points deduction for breaching EFL accounting rules.
Last Saturday they drew 1-1 at Preston thanks to a fourth goal of the season from our very own Jerry Yates, who?s out on loan there. Unless there?s a clause in his contract to state otherwise he won?t be playing against us.

I suppose the main thing is the result. Swans looked a tired team last night, let’s hope they recover for Saturday.
We needed a bit of luck to see out this one as we took our foot of the gas and almost paid the price.
Surprised Abbey didn’t come on instead of Darling, and Allen instead of Franco.

Alright boys, saw the match last night, what a goal by Vipotnik and what a pass from Cullen for Ronaldo’s goal. Unfortunately we stopped playing after 20 mins but luckily hung on for the win in the end. Three points we’ll gratefully accept and move on, Derby are a tough nut to crack at home.
