A decent performance until the substitutions

I enjoyed today’s performance until the substitutions. We were unlucky not have gone 3-2 up and, it seemed to me, that we had more shots than at any of the other home matches.
Unfortunately none of the substitutions improved performance. Disappointing.
Notwithstanding, we are still in the mix.
Great to see Grant continuing to make a significant contribution.
    A decent game to watch.

Yes enjoyed it Prando until I saw Wallace coming on and momentum was lost and died with the other subs.

Styles continues to impress me - so composed on the ball and good feet.

Wait for all the changes this Tuesday 😡

Good comment re Styles. Improving each match and clearly gaining confidence.
Initially, I was concerned over his height which remains an issue, but countered somewhat by having Heggem alongside him.
I heard some words from Carlos earlier tonight wherein he referred to the downturn of performance after 70 mins. So, as you would hope and expect, he is aware the damage emanated post substitutions.

That's the problem though isn't it Prando? He sees that the performance dropped once the substitutions were made so why make them-or at least so many of them-in the first place? He clearly knows the difference in performance between players he selected for the starting 11 and those he had as subs so it surely isn't just a "benefit of hindsight" thing. I don't believe the issue was around the desire from those players coming on but one of simple quality.

Raicic for Mowatt I can maybe understand and Dobbin has looked more promising in his recent appearances but the other changes I really do not get. As many have said, they caused us to lose momentum and the very players who looked most likely to get us another goal were taken off in a game in which we still had a chance of nicking the 3 points.

Totally agree Omeg. It would have been far easier to get another two points against a very average Norwich side and to get one point at an excellent Sunderland side with Bellingham returning.

It?s as if CC is desperate to give Wallace minutes and not once when he?s come on as he looking like he could influence the game. He?s slow and shocking in front of goal and now delivers poor crosses. If Wallace starts against Sunderland ( wouldn?t surprise me ) then I will watch Eastenders.

Don?t even rate Dobby as he constantly loses the ball. Cole is not worthy of a mention and Swift needs to go in January as a high earner along with Wallace.

Two big points lost again and never seen the stands so empty in the last 5 minutes!
