    Queens v Stenny

This will be a tough game, - but one that we need to win for a host of reasons, - and mainly to stay in touch with the current leaders. Presently, Stenhousemuir are nine points ahead of us, and we simply can't afford for them to go 12 in front.

So I expect a nervy 90 minutes on Saturday from Queens, - with Stenny playing with lots of confidence.

Please Mr Murphy let the players off the leash especially for a home game.

    A must not lose game.

Well we made hard work of that but a well earned win in the end. The first 20 mins were very encouraging and we actually created a fair few chances which was refreshing. Middle part of the game was fairly even but after we scored our second goal we inexplicibly started to defend far too deep. This gave Stenhousemuir the belief they could maybe get something from the game as up until then they posed little threat. Thought Dickenson was MOM although there was some other decent performances. We now need to maintain a more attack orientated approach and hopefully start picking up points regularly.

I thoroughly enjoyed the game until we allowed Stenny back in. Surely now we can move on up the table?
A great result and completely deserved.

That was a great victory yesterday. I thought Brooks & Dickenson were fantastic up front & put in a fantastic shift. Long may it continue

Totally agree, - I hope Brooks' knock and cramp was all it was, - as he was brilliant for us and never stopped running. The mobility of the entire Queens squad was key to the success yesterday, - and Stenny were lucky to keep 11 men on the park as they just couldn't cope with the energy and movement of our lads.
