I think Lyle might go and possibly Josh. Hope not. Bit indifferent regards Sharpe but would like to see all the others sign.

If they do go am I right in thinking that because we've offered them contracts we would receive development fees for Lyle and Josh?

I was surprised to see Harry Sharpe being offered an extension to his contract as this season he has been the third choice goalkeeper warming the subs bench.
In my opinion Harry Sharpe would be better signing for a lower league team where he could be guaranteed a place in the first team.
Perhaps Dundee Football Club are looking for a development fee for him by offering to extend his contract.

    That is correct.
As long as they are under 24 years old and are offered a new contract the club would receive a development fee for them if they left at the end of their current contract.
Several weeks ago I read in the Sunday Times newspaper that Aberdeen and Rangers were in dispute about the development fee to be paid by Rangers to Aberdeen for Connor Barron.
It was being decided by an independent tribunal.
The article stated that Dundee FC and Motherwell FC was watching the Connor Barron development fee case with great interest as they were in the same position with Lyall Cameron and Lennon Miller respectively.

Hope you are wrong. I know you have been consistent in thinking Cameron might be not as important a player for us but Mulligan and Portales as well would be bad news for us imo.

So why are you surprised Sharpe was offered another cintract?

Do you think before you post?

Don't think regular football is top of his agenda, he seems to have a career path laid out and he will be confident enough to think he can get in most teams.....over confidence I think.

He's been offered a very good contract.....but with these leaving clauses it will always be when not if and causes a lot of uncertainty at the club......I'd rather he just went .....but that's a personal opinion.
