I must admit, I stopped checking the scores outside L1 and assumed they were coasting to a win. I'm not sure what's happening there, whether it's back of house noise, Rodri's absence, De Bruyne's fitness, or coincidence, but with Liverpool up next they (and many neutrals who watch the PL) need something to change quickly.

The money that they have spent & you look at their subs bench I?ve seen better subs benches in the Championship.

Their academy has been pretty good, so some of those youngsters may well be future stars - and they command high prices for those who they end up releasing - but some of that bench may end up being the next Cameron Humphreys rather than the next Cole Palmer. Either way, very strange set of results.

They have let a lot of top quality players leave their academy, Palmer is just one example. The first team squad is aging, bringing back a player who said when he left he was too old to play a full Premier league season, is desperate. Wasted money on players that will never be first team regulars and the idea of a defence as a midfield, is ok when you are playing well, but when others suss you out it is a huge mistake. City leak goals, they first thing he needs to do is to stop leaking goals. If you look at the subs last night they were not necessary and it was arrogant to think the game was won and prepare for Liverpool. I think Pep has already decided to leave in the summer when his contract expires, he doesn't like failure and when the cycle turns against him he leaves. He is a great manager and they have been a wonderful team over the last 10-12 years but everything ends. The charges are just that, accusations nothing more until the process is completed, if they are found guilty then he will certainly be off, his loyalty is to Pep.

    He's just signed a 2-year contract.

PG has signed a 1+1 year extension, so will very likely be there at least next season, and probably one more.

Feel free to laugh your heads off but I think the wheels came off Pep when Tuchel got the England job.
Everyone thought is was just his for the taking - and a perfect way up and out of the City mess.
Results collapsed immediately after that and Mr invincible is looking more vulnerable with every game and press conference.
As I say feel free to laugh... no-one knows what's gone on and it'll all be in chip paper in weeks/ months to come...
