    Jim Goodwins Tangerine Army

Great to hear the fans singing Jims name on the European tours.

Time to build a long term legacy now.

Hopefully the club and JG can get signed for another 3 years and we can all progress together 🧡

Agree. JG needs a huge amount of credit for what he has done over the past few years. The back room staff also deserve a huge amount too.

I cldnt believe that up until Dario (not sure if we had to payout for him) we haven?t paid for any new players this season. All free agents or loan deals with options to buy.

Once we get the majority of the injured lads back this team cld definitely have something about them.

There is a really good positive feel about the club at the moment. An extension to JG contract will not only help solidify this but also provide some stability for the club moving forward. Something that has been missing for many years.

It was said on dode fox last week (dode fox fact!) that we haven?t paid a fee for anyone this summer

    Fantastic business so far

I guess there are some add ons that could apply and we have now paid the fee for nammo as would apply on other loans

Song been overdue for me but good to hear it now

Hope there is now trust from the fans with JG and also patience

Think this season will be full of ups and downs, especially early on but feel the squad can be strong with numbers back and out so be entertaining

At same time it's a strong looking league this year so no guarantee we can achieve top 6 again, second season is notorious in general for being difficult

Get him a long term contract though, that's a must

I have been behind Jim for a long time now,i like him as a person and when we came from behind v The Sheep on the last game of the season i was happier for him than anyone else at the club. The footballing gods were shining down on him that day and even though he would never say it in public revenge for him that day must have been so FN sweet.

To go from the Championship to 4th in the Premiership in a year was an incredible achievement given the amount of money spent last season by The Sheep,Mini Huns,Hibs and even The Funsters.Three of them still have much bigger budgets than us again this season but i reckon we can still give them a run for their money.

    I agree 100% GB

It?s a great redemption story with Jim

I do think we might benefit now that the focus can be on the league

It would be a good lift to hear JG has extended his contract before the next match

Still feeling positive for the season

    Come on United !!!!

He?s done a good job for us?. I wasn?t in favour of his appointment and I certainly wasn?t in favour of his renewal at the time but I?d like to see him extend again!

However I wish we could sub in a different manager for cup competitions- his record in knockout games is absolutely horrific!

Probably mitigating circumstances this time - a penalty shoot out that could have gone either way against quality opposition and an empty tank in 2nd half at Rugby Park after the 120 minutes exertions in Europe.
