    O/T Windows

    Bit of a niche, local one, this.

    Absolutely gutted it's shut down. Said they couldn't compete with online prices.

    Been in Newcastle for over 100 years and, if you play or are into music at all, you've spent quality time in Newcastle. Culturally, it's a huge blow, imo.

    Sad times, man.

    A bit of traditional Newcastle is Windows. Bought a brand new trombone there in 1957 for would you believe, the princely sum of 23 Quid.

    How much would it be today. 200 to 300.
