The loon and I driving up from ?darkest England?s mouth?. Going to need a pre-match pint or two to steel my nerves. Zero expectations.
At this point I?ll take anything that avoids a humiliation.
Aberdeen will be playing Celtic in the Scottish Cup final for the eighth time. Celtic have won four (1937, 1954, 1967 and 2017) while we have won three (1970, 1984 and 1990).
It all happens at Hampden Park on Saturday May 24th, 3:00pm kick-off.
I'm so disinterested in this game that I haven't even booked the day off work, so while I'm grafting, Thelin's tosspots will not be, and it'll be a seventh treble in six seasons for Celtic when they pump us 0-6.![]()

Every chance (well hope) that this might be the Swedish lads last match in charge ofbthe once mighty dons.
If he is in the dugout for this then it will be at least 0-5 to the Tims going on 7 or 8
If he has been sacked or walked before then then no matter who is in charge then at least that in itself rules out the humiliation
Just look upon this as a one off game and forget the shyte leading up to it.
It's still a cup final and stranger things have happened in fitba matches.
as I posted in the cup thread, I'm going to enjoy it and if we do get pumped, I'll still be a proud dandy afterwards.
As a one off game anything could happen in theory. In reality though it isn't even the outcome that is in question just the level of embarrassment we have to deal with after. I would have more hope if we put our women's team out.
I always try to be positive about our chances, especially in front of the loon considering I brainwashed him into supporting Aberdeen but I cant see anything other than a doing for us.
They will score and our players will fall to pieces because they dont have the mentality to deal with it.
I don?t think the build up to the final could have been any worse, 4 bad defeats in a row and the incident today which will make morale even worse for the spineless bunch we have in our squad.
No doubt the club will have video clips of the players laughing and joking at the training ground like they always do, they are a good bunch of actors at least.
They take a good selfie
He needs to do something different. Doing the same thing will get another 5-1 defeat (or worse depending on how motivated septic are to humiliate us).
Give a thought to the defence. Have someone man-mark McGregor. Let the full-backs be a bit more defensive, not have them knacker themselves by the 60th minute running too much. Gueye needs to play; he's the only one who might win a heider. Just please, anything other than the 3 horror shows we've already seen.
Ive been think about the McGregor problem. I think we should put Fletcher Boyd on him. Just tell him to stick to him like glue, chase him about all day and dont get involved in anything else.
It was egregious watching the game a few days back, you could put him in there with their youth team and he'd probably get a result. It's not a sin to be reactive in some situations. When you play the best team in the country, you need to think first about defence. It doesn't seem that JT agrees with that.
