Thread: Gregg Wallace...

  1. #1

    Red face Gregg Wallace...

The Prime Minister?s official spokesman said: ?The Culture Secretary spoke with the BBC leadership at the end of last week on this matter and wider workplace culture issues to seek assurances that there are robust processes in place to deal with complaints.

?Clearly the comments we have seen from the individual over the weekend were completely inappropriate and misogynistic."

The woke brigade are running amok IMHO.

It's fecking ludicrous, with so many problems in this country and the world, why is our government concerning itself with this nonsense.

Complaints about what were said 14 years ago should be judged in context. By today's standards benny Hill could be condemned as a ***ual pervert. Standards at the time saw it is "laddish" behaviour. judging past behaviour by modern standards doesn't work. Winston Churchill could be pilloried, is that what society wants?

Ok guys, what has Greg actually done or said here, and why is the PM getting involved ?.
And if he's done wrong, is it any worse than what other celebs have done/said over the years ?. 😕

The PM should be very careful ( people in glass houses ) after the Jimmy Saville debarcle

What?s laughable is true or not I don?t know but there have been several complaints over several years

Maybe the BBC have thought we can?t cover things up like we did previously- I mean Saville is prime - no one ever knew what he?d done / said did they for years and then of course his human rights were infringed and someone got him off.

Greggs offences are obviously far worse than the above or are they.

There is no complaint whatsoever of inappropriate physical touching or contact.

Why not just shout, " Shut your gob you mucky old git?"

And why Starmer wants to intervene is anybody's guess.

It?s called deflection tactics BT that?s why he wants his say , it?s beyond me all of this tbh and if I was truthful really don?t care.

It?s a sad day when no one dare say anything or read posts on what?s app for fear of prosecution- government past and present have ruined everything from stand up comedy to all everyday life - it?s the least Christmas spirit I?ve had for many a year.

It's the reason I have stopped letting sinkov and co wind me up about the genocide in Palestine, it's now nigh on impossible to write what you really think.

    Democracy my arse.
