Highlight of the Day - Luke Ayling

Just had the pleasure of meeting Luke Ayling, currently with the Middlesbrough team in Lancashire awaiting their game with Burnley tonight. What a genuinely nice guy, engaged with my Grandson (three) from the off and happily posed for a pic with him without hesitation; apologies to the other Bro players, as I said, not interested in you (they took it in good humour). Tough game for them at Burnley tonight, weather will be awful. Hopefully a game that wears them out for Tuesday, though he did say he likes a quick succession of games.

I'd post the pic, but despite the efforts of Mr BA I seem to have lost the way

He really is a top bloke.

My mate Neil?s son was a match ambassador (I.e. mascot) a while back and he was paired with Luke fir the game.

Really made his day and I was able to get his match shirt to give to James later.

Nice - such a lovely bloke and nothing ever seems too much trouble for him. One of those people that makes life better - 😊👌
