Wonder if anyone has ever scored a hat trick of own goals?
    Answer:

Hundreds of players have scored hat-tricks, but only 2 have put the ball in the back of their own net 3 times in one game.

The first guy is Stan van den Buijs. The Belgian, who played for Germinal Ekeren, was credited with a hat-trick of own goals against Anderlecht back in the 1994-95 season.

Upon review, though, it would appear that the last goal was put over the line by an Anderlecht attacker, so he never really scored a hat-trick of own goals.

You know who did for sure, though? Meikayla Moore. She did this playing for New Zealand against the United States in the SheBelieves Cup in February 2022. You know what?s crazy? It was a perfect hat-trick.

Having seen her own goals online you can't really fault the positioning........ it's just the direction that was a little unfortunate 😃 😀 😄.
