After a great performance, - demonstrating precisely what the team is capable of, - its time to hit the road and kill off Kelty quickly on Saturday.
Queens need to close the gap between us and the top of the league and set up a fantastic derby match with Annan three days after Christmas, - with folk all over the region begging to get out of the house for some fresh air and some excitement.
So come on Queens, - another 3 points please at Kelty and no excuses either, - we now know what you can really do.

Completely agree, now is the time to start showing consistency especially away from home. As an aside, I'm pleased we seem to have ditched the short goal kick routines and are getting the ball forward quicker. My current bugbear is we pull everyone back for corners and free kicks the longer the games goes on, Saturday being a perfect example. If you keep one or two players forward then the opposition have to at least match that and therefore reduces the number of players in our box.Maybe my approach is too simplistic.
I have to agree with you Beautiful South, -but for now let's be thankful that the nonsensical constant short goal kicks have been knocked on the head. Young Brooksie is providing a great outlet from quick releases from our keeper and putting defences on the back foot.
Perhaps the new year will see our atracking players being kept on the half way line at opposition corners?
Kelty beat Arbroath 3-2 last night.
That keeps the league tight and Kelty shouldn't have the same energy levels come Saturday!
The players need only to look at the humiliation from the home thumping from Kelty for motivation for revenge. Start as we did with Stenhousemuir and we can revenge that result but on their turf. Mon the South 👏👏
I would be pleased with a draw to keep the pot bubbling for the Annan game. After all these are opponents who we just can't seem to get the better of.
Oh dear! Normal service has been resumed. 10 points behind the leaders now and even if we win our game in hand we are way off the pace. The odd win is just not good enough from a league perspective but more importantly to encourage extra punters to Palmerston.
