    Buckingham sacked

Extraordinary - overachievers to get Oxford elevated, overachievers to get them off to a better start than anyone expected. Hit the skids a bit and now gone. Madness - but he's good enough to rebound

Not the 1st time a manager over-achieves by getting small club promoted & then the owners think the manager is the problem in a league that too good for them. What’s the guy meant to do with a small club & budget? To be competitive is an achievement. Had Oxford not been promoted & were midtable in League 1, he’d probably still be in a job. A victim of his own success.

I note Sibs wasn't even in the squad, is he injured or just not good enough as he has hardly played since his move.

They said on Sky 'not available' so one would assume injured!
