I can only think Brownhill is off.

    If we?re signing Jonjo Shelvey.

What a player by the way - very decent footballer can probably still do it at this level and he knows where the goal is.

I?m sorry but I completely disagree. This is bloody sh*te, and a big step backwards. What happened too bringing in young players that can grow with us and potentially sell on for a bigger profit??? Isn?t that what Pace said not that long ago? Or words to that effect? First Barnes returns and now this guy?? There both finished now?. In any case, it?s strikers we need?. Something doesn?t add up? 😒

    - I really don?t think it will stop us signing and developing young players , I think we would t sign shelvey unless Brownhill was going now imo anyway ( it?s just to get us over the line ) as I saw it .

Hope I?m wrong - however I think we wouldn?t sign the likes of shelvey unless someone?s leaving.

Shelvey not my idea of improving our squad. Can we stop all these malicious rumours about Brownhill leaving please until it happens.

I don?t want to lose Brownhill either Alf but logic tells me we wouldn?t be signing the likes of Shelvey if something wasn?t budging.

Hope it?s a rumour - however Shelvey is / has been a very good footballer

I think signing Shelvey doesn't suggest anyone leaving, I'm thinking we are a midfielder light now Massingo has gone out on loan.
With just Cullen , Laurent , Brownhill & Hannibal , we need cover for Injuries & suspension's, and with no cover for Cullen in the other 3 , Shelvey can play as a defensive midfielder.
Not ideal as he's not been consistent and struggled for any form recently but on a 6 month contract till the end of the season , its a no brainer as he offers experience , physicality and is a free agent so good cover in my opinion.

Brownhill won't be going anywhere Shelvey or no Shelvey. We are missing some quality in midfield and Shelvey, if we can keep him fit, might just be the fella to push us over the line

I still think that Brownhill and Roberts will go in this window just to bring the wage bill down.
We are all unaware of our financial situation and can only surmise, however, the trend has certainly been to ddespatch with the servixes of our higher earners, therefore, it would be no surprise if this continues.
I have to add that I am totally against these possible events taking place, however,..........................

If Pace does let those two go he doesn't deserve the loyalty of the fans. I lost track of Shelby, where has he been?
