    Bitterness from other fans

    This from hibees

Dundee Utd score in the 93rd minute
*******! Jammiest team of the season for sure
Aberdeen have donsed it yet again

but my jings that dundee utd side are this seasons jammiest side
They absolutely are but luck always runs out. 7 points is nothing for us to gain against them with half the season remaining.
I know this is so premature, but I think that Utd result suits us. I have a feeling now that by the end of season, we will be in the race for third. Long way to go, but we look a team these days.
They certainly are. Still sticks in the throat that we only picked up a point in our two games against them. Poor team but are picking up the points somehow. The luck will turn soon enough.

Bit of a hard neck, can't wait for their wee resurgence to end and for us to ram it up them at Tannadice in Feb

No Hibee mates but my Jambo pal texted me with congratulations at the final whistle.

Maybe it was my imagination but I thought the Premier Sports commentators were wanting a Sheep goal through the full 90 minutes.
Fair play to Hutton and Mulgrew though for saying we were worthy winners.

    Match stats

    United shots 19

    Sheep shots 9

    United corners 9

    Sheep corners 1

Its hardly Raith Rovers last season when they were getting battered in certain games but still came up with numerous undeserved late goals to win at the death. We fully deserved that win and F Hibs,i fully expect the Jammy DAB barstewards from the Funsters but i honestly thought other teams supporters would have a better understanding of the game.

we might have had a wee bit of luck earlier in the season but I can see the team getting better. We defend like our lives depend on it but we are now also good in attack. 19 shots on goal today. This is a new team and its getting better and better. Plus we still have players out.

Third best goal difference, third best defence, top goalscorer in the division. These are not lucky statistics.

We are one of only 4 clubs with a + goal difference and we are the 3rd lowest in the League for goals conceded with only the OF conceding less.We have lost 4 games out of 19 which is joint 2nd best in the league even the Sheep above us have lost more games than us and they thought they were gonna win the league whereas we worried about relegation.Them's the FACTS.

    Correct.

As to luck as claimed by Hibees and Funsters, we are doing to teams now what "Old Firm " teams used to do for years. If needing a goal to win a game they would ramp up the pressure on opposing defences into the dying moments, keep the ball in and around the box and very often they would get that last minute goal.

It's definitely not luck, it's a fitter team getting stronger at the death.

It wasn't luck when raith rovers were doing it last season either. Tbf Hibs fans, we were utter dug sh1te in the game at Easter road, our worst performance of the season.

To score late in any game or at any sport you have to keep going with full intent the whole time, that is a new side of this United team.

We always used to rue the oldfirm scoring late and getting out of jail etc, thats what we are now doing.
