    Ness and Robinson Update

It looks like both are out for the season - Robinson with a quadricep issue, Ness with a hamstring. That is a bit of a blow,

It's a blow. But if it's going to happen during the season early January is better than after the window closes.

Not the best news for either of them, fingers crossed for full recoveries. In the meantime, we're going to need some cover brought in fast.

Not great news. We have had some injuries this season. As a matter of interest, what was Ness's injury at Charlton when we signed him?

Really hope Ness isn?t a crock. Looks a useful player when fit. Robertson?s injury seems to stem from the weird chest injury he had earlier in the season but doesn?t have a history (from what I know) of injuries so should still be a good squad player next year. Definitely room for a defender, midfielder and striker to come in in Jan. We have a good starting 11 but only an injury or two away from starting Cundy, Brown, Hinchy (admittedly has looked better in his last couple of games) and I?m not convinced they have what it takes for a promotion push.

Unbelievable amount of mid and long-term injuries this season. It can't all be bad luck, can it?

Another blow, worried both might be made of glass. Our injury list this year has been very worrying. Are we sure this new upgrade posh pitch isn't the cause or the training methods or just plain bad luck.?

When we 1st had the injury set backs, I said could our pitch have anything to do with it, and got slated on here

I strongly suspect just bad luck. Robertson was on the training ground. Ness at Cheltenham. Jones impact injury. Jatta clash of heads etc. training methods and schedule more likely reason.

I too like the look of Ness when I?ve seen him, shame he?s out. I actually think we can handle in absence with the 5 other centre backs we have.

Robertson is a real worry both in terms of his resilience to injury and the loss in central midfield. I read that his performances have been mixed but we have no replacement for his type of midfielder. He was our true bite in central midfield, much needed aggression, much needed breaking up of play. Who does that now? We lack strength and he was strongest in that area of the pitch
