    Everton

Not really interested in other clubs but something I?m a bit confused on, how can a club be up for sale and build a brand new stadium at the same time?

They started work a long time ago (Aug 21 is when work on the ground actually started)

Which is why I wish the owners would hurry the f**k up with the ground decision! It took over 3 years, Spurs new stadium took almost 3 years, if we are going to get a new stadium (and that?s my preference) then we should have started already.

I?m worried that the lack of a new training ground after more than 3 years means we?re going for a cheap option and it will be developing existing stadium.

Yep that?s what I?ve always thought was sus with the PIF they can literally spend billions on infrastructure unrestricted. Why haven?t built state of the art training facilities and youth academy?

I am guessing they want to be 100% with the decisions and are doing the right thing for everyone. Sensitive subject a new stadium you'd think especially one like ours with the location, history and constraints.

...Or there is no real intention to progress at the scale and speed we were hoping.

I am pretty sure it is the former.

Completely agree when it comes to making a decisions about the ground.

Training ground though? Remember when they came in, all the talk about run down, wheelie bins for ice baths, they did a touch up job around it and am sure the expectation was that at least we would provide our players and academy with top notch facilities? they?re still at the same place.

There?s been some upgrades, but nothing approaching the ?state of the art? facilities that were being talked about.

We?ve had plenty time to build a new complex for all the training needs of the club, and we?ve basically put an expensive sticky plaster on it.

That?s what I?m concerned about, and that?s what makes me think we?ll see the equivalent sticky plaster on the Stadium.

    Hopefully I?m wrong.
