    Accrington

Well, what did we think of that?
We certainly weren't at our best. Attacking wise we seemed to lack width, especially on the right.
It didn't help that everytime we broke for an attack we got fouled. Ref was useless should have been on top of that with a few yellows for them in the first half for repeated offences.
Not sure I would have taken Max Conway off, didn't think Matus Holicek had a great game.
Still we're still second....so hope the booing at the end was for the ref,....but would have been nice to crawl a little closer to Walsall.

Definitely lacked width. Neither Cooney nor Conway got forward enough but I would have persisted with them. Tracy added nothing of note. His early runs were a little exciting but, as usual, nothing came of them. What worried me most of all was the absence of midfield. Sanders look useful for the first 10 minutes but then faded. Powell had one of his bad games where he actually had an assist to the opposition!
As LB says, there was too much short passing with no purpose at the back. This led to a lack of intensity. There's nobody moving the ball forward like Lankester was able to. That's why there needs to be a different style of midfielder. With the exception of Powell and Thomas all our midfielders are much the same.
