    Potter

Been named as new West Ham manager.

Good choice and I think he'll do well there.

They've had to pay Lopetegui ?3.3 million in compensation apperently.

He was a poor choice to begin with, I think.

Potter plays good football and will get the best out of some decent players.

If Potter could change things I'll bet he would have wished he'd stayed at Brighton, where he built the foundations for the decent team they have become, instead of accepting the lure of "artificial" Chelski where they don't give a decent manager a chance and want success within days, not even weeks.

He'll do OK at West Ham because they will give him a chance and backing. Good luck to him except when they play us.

The Dyche sacking seems a bit strange, and not just him all his staff as well.

They have to have someone lined up to come in straight away otherwise this makes no sense.

Moyes going back is strongest rumour, although Jose is also quite a big one to.

With regards to Dyche, his football is shit to watch.

This doesn't add anything to the discussion-I just wanted to mention it.

New Yank owners. That's the way they do things.

    Very true pat, very true.

With Yank owners, it always makes me think it'll be Jose but from stories today, looks like it'll be Moyes back.

Bit of an odd one in some ways, Moyes going back to Everton.

He's an upgrade on Dyche but it's hardly an inspiring, forward-thinking appointment. Whilst West Ham fans enjoyed the cup run-and win-they weren't exactly enamoured with his style of football.

I could have understood it if it was a 6 month 'keep us up' deal but it's 2 and a half years.

Their new stadium is just a more sparkly version of the Bungalow of Shite, the Riverside, Stoke's ground, etc so maybe getting a more sparkly version of Dyche is quite apt.

Anyway, it's Everton, who cares. Fuck 'em.
