Just watched Harrogate and you know what our lot should be made to see it.

Harrogate gave fight - spirit - blood - courage and played for the shirt. The Harrogate guys will be on a couple of grand ( if that a week ) whilst useless bottlers like Wallace, Holgate and Swift will be on about 25K a week.

It makes you vomit! I would make our players watch it again and again for 12 hours!

Yes I totally agree. I love our club but am sick to death of the attitude we have towards cup competitions.oh let?s sacrifice it to get to the bottom 3 of the greedy league. Embarrassing..well done Plymouth?stoke next Saturday..mark robbins in charge..that?s got 0-1 all over it..happy new year?gutless baggies you?ve let me /us down..night

This seems crazy to me, we have just lost a cup match to a side in the top half of the Premier League and everyone seems to be slagging off the Club. We have, not so long ago, escaped the clutches of the frightful chinaman, who left us in a parlous financial situation. We all know we need strengthening but it isn’t going happen overnight, yes, some players probably need to be moved on but we are where we are. We are not going down, we have a new manager’s imminent arrival, so let’s get real. I will be happy if we gradually improve over the next couple of seasons, so let’s see how it goes; we still have our Club.

It?s not the thrashing Ketts but the sheer lack of spirit, fight and effort hence the Harrogate comparison. Holgate was like a pub player and Racic - well he?s not a footballer!

We would still have our club had it gone into administration like Derby. Patel picked up the club at a bargain price so will judge him fairly on monies going out and monies coming in. I trust the 3 million compensation from CC will go towards a decent manager appointment which at a crucial time ( January window ) is starting to look embarrassing.

I would take Mowbray at a shot with a health clause.

    Indeed well put! 👍

Lest not forget that the ?construction? of our league may fool quite a lot of supporters that their team is a top club in the league. Team # 6 may get promoted, and often teams around # 10-11 compete for spot 6. And therefore are considered ?top clubs?, which they are not. They are mid table clubs - the top clubs are those competing for direct promotion, this season Sheffield U, Leeds, Burnley and Sunderland - no other clubs.

As with Leic's post on another recent thread, I also agree with you Ketts. I do understand Al and Bomber's point of view, particularly around the seeming lack of commitment and competitive attitude of some individual players, but that's a very fair summing up of the situation 👍

That?s the whole point, nobody expected us to win, the gulf now is far too big, but what is expected is that ALL players put in a shift and come off the field having given everything aka, Accrington Stanley, Harrogate and Tamworth today, we have too many spineless couldn?t care less Charlie?s that need to be weeded out by the new manager, I don?t need to mention names because they all know who they are

I didn't have a bad day. I had a rip roaring p iss up and a good day out rudely interrupted by a largely passive performance from an under strength side which would have struggled to fight it's way out of a wet paper bag.

We had some nice moves but they were too infrequent and we succumbed to the better side with better resources. I'm not going to throw the baby out with the bathwater for it or claim we were better than we were either.

We paid our money, we made our choice to travel down and returned to West Brom quite late but a good day out was had. C'est la vie and COYB 😎.
