    RIP Ralph
    Thanks for those detailed stats.
I was 11 at the time and can distinctly remember attending the Watford and Barnsley home games early season.

I recently viewed some Notts Reserves programmes on Ebay from the same era.
Ralph Brown played in consecutive seasons at The Boleyn Ground v West Ham .

Unfortunately, Notts were heavily beaten in both games conceding 11 and 8 respectively with Geoff Hurst scoring 5 in one of the games.

Good turnout at Bramcote today for Ralph's funeral , quite a few wearing Notts County favours and others wearing Ilkeston Town colours.
Nice that a round of applause broke out as the bearers carried in the coffin.
All in all a very fitting send off.
