    📝 Charlie Whitaker Signs

Rumours about that we are about to sign a 21-year-old midfielder from Everton. Apparantly on a permanent deal.

Sounds promising and the kind of radar signing young with a good education at the highest level looking to make their mark on the men?s game. We shall see what happens.

The below bit of the article got me a bit excited. Obviously not played pro football yet, but seems to know where the net is in the youth game.

    ------------------------

Across the under-18s and under-21s, he has played 87 games, scoring 30 goals and registering 13 assists during that time. This season, the youngster has been particularly prominent, with seven goals to his name in the Premier League 2.

Charlie Whitaker Premier League 2 24/25
    Appearances - 9
    Goals - 7
    Assists - 1
Minutes per goal contribution - 84

From the same "source" there is some speculation about Jack Stevens

Pete o?Rourke from Sky who seems pretty reliably also reporting on this. Whitaker has also followed Crowley, Abbot, Platt and a few others today on Instagram- suggests its pretty much done and he?s been at training.

Positives he plays as a 10 and has an uncanny knack for a goal or two.
Negative he had 3 months out with an injury.
Having said that we always sign players post injury.
He has had a good education at Everton and had to learn quick at Under 23 level, after Everton got rid of more senior players due to spending cuts.
If this signing is true then I wish him well

"The Bobble" is an excellent insider source for Everton news, and he's saying the same thing about Charlie Whitaker to Notts.
