Villa sign forward Malen from Borussia Dortmund

Cracking signing for them to be fair.. I'm sure they haven't paid that much either

Talk of us not making signings this window are surfacing, however surely there is money in the bank after Guehi bids in the summer

All that meant was they knew there would be 12m spare to spend and not breach PSR

That was before Vlachodimas, and Osula, which will be between 6-7m per year for 5 years.

Think all this talk about a 60m bid has had folks thinking we had 60m available so there?s a lot of talk along the lines of ?what about the Guehi money?? we?ve not paid up front since Gordon, that was a hard pill to swallow financially and probably hurt our ambitions short term.

I believe all 20 PL clubs just passed PSR this year, no breaches. Does that open the door for new spending?

Think Villa could only sign him because they are selling Philogene to Ipswich for 20m (yes football has gone mad )

    Not heard of the bloke.

Villa are also likely to sell Diego Carlos to Joses Turkish side, so they are recouping.

Or losing strength in depth in defence to gain it in attack I guess.

Bid rejected, apparently. Nowhere near our valuation.

Which, given that he was free and not particularly good... can't be much?
