    Aberdeen v Dunfermline Athletic

Scottish Cup business for the Dismal Dons to attend to next Sunday, 9th February, at the Cathedral of Football. It's a 12:30pm kick-off, live on Premier Sports.

It's the Pars of Dunfermline who provide the opposition. I fancy them to hump us like everyone else has, running out 3-0 winners.

This a very dangerous match for the management. They cannot afford to lose this one against lower league opposition and at home.

In reality (and this isn?t having a dig at Dunfermline) we should have young players on loan at clubs like this as they are going to get game time because they wouldn?t get anywhere near enough at the moment because they cannot break into our team. That would mean we have a far stronger team and should deal with this match professionally and ruthlessly.

Do I think we will be ruthless?.absolutely not. Do I think our players will represent us professionally?absolutely not.

If Dunfermline open the scoring Jimmy and his players better start packing their bags because life is going to become a hell of a lot more uglier than it was when he first appeared.

I think this match could easily be decided on penalties. Pity help our lot.

?48 paid for two tickets for this on Friday.

Hopefully will be a welcome relief from our league woes.

Personally do not think our name will be in the hat for the draw for the next round.

Only chance we might fluke it is if it goes to a penalty shoot out.

Think the pars will have taken care of us before then tho.
    0-2 Pars
But as usual i hope i am wrong.

There is to be a display in memory of Jimmy Calderwood before the game on Sunday.

You lot, what are you like? This will be like the Elgin game, a bit of huff and puff early on as Dunfermline will be well organised but we will score first and then go on to win by two or three goals in a comfortable win

They looked shyte in the challenge cup semi last night. I'm expecting us to win.

Apparently, they have sold their allocation for the game whereas our uptake has been slow.

Comfortable win, with the new signings providing a bit of much needed pizazz

Has to be a convincing win on Sunday and I think it will be. This will be the catalyst for a resurgence in the league form which will see us back into 3rd before the split. We?ve been woeful but are only 2 points of third so time to stop fannying about now and get back to winning ways.
