Steve Gerrard is set to leave Saudi Arabia football club Al-Ettifaq.

Been reported, that Steve Gerrard has asked to leave the club, due to personal reasons.

While at the club under Gerrard, the club have won 23 out of his 59 games in charge.

Al-Ettifaq currently 12th in the 18 team Saudi pro-league, having won 5 of its 17 games.

After the last game against Al-Wehda, which ended 2-2 Gerrard made a statement, saying
he was not satisfied with players performance & levels.

Steve Gerrard 44 year-old reported to be on 15million pounds a year, at the club.

The club are to arrange a exit package for Gerrard.

Michael Beale who Gerrard just brought in as assistant-manager, set to leave also.
