Pretty much agree but Didzy would get a 7.5 for me.
I thought he was the most creative, the hardest working and the best Notts player on the pitch.
A few have said his legs have gone. Didn?t look it when he sprinted to right back in the 94th minute.
Pretty dire viewing but here's my 2 cents
Bass.. 6.. Handling decent but kicking was absolutely awful
Bedeau... 6.5.. Never ever seems to let us down, defended well but didn't get forward as much as usual
Platt... 7... Our best defender on the night, just seems to win everything that comes into the box
McDonald... 6.. Tried some Hollywood passes which didn't come off but played decently, early yellow changed his game
Tsaroulla...5.. Just not convinced by this guy, has pace to burn but rarely uses it, wouldn't finish his dinner and usually subbed...needs to show more
Hinchy...7.. MOTM ... Very neat and tidy tonight, kept it very simple and was still going at the very end
Abbott...7.. You can see his quality in spots tonight but didn't have his best game, still an outstanding player for us.
Jones... 5.5.. Just doesn't look fit yet, taking a while to get shot of the rust, tried tonight but looked so tired when he was subbed, still an amazing player to have at the club
McGoldrick... 6.5 Was still running in the 94th minute which is a testament to his amazing fitness, played OK I just thought he wasted so much ball tonight but put in a hell of a shift
Grant... 6... Quietly went about his business, nothing outstanding but played well, injured yet again which is a huge concern, seems to be made of chocolate unfortunately
Jatta...6.5.. Scored a very good goal, did seem to miss a pretty easy chance early in the second half but apart from that he played very well when you see how bad the service into him was.
Subs
Edwards...6.5..One or two slightly misplaced passes but I thought he played pretty well in his cameo, still working his way back in but looks to be fighting fit
Johnson...7.. Only on for about 25 minutes but didn't put a foot wrong... oozed quality, looks a real baller
Gordon... 6.. Twice the player Jones was unfortunately, actually got crosses into the box, only downside is he gives his player such a wide berth to attack on the right hand side but I guess he backs his pace to beat anyone.
Jarvis.. Not on long enough to grade but his run when almost clean through on goal was shocking, he looked like he had just run a marathon and had all the speed of a tortoise on crutches.. just plain weird that he looked out of breath after 4 minutes on the pitch!
Ref 9/10... I though the ref was absolutely excellent, let a few niggly fouls go and didn't stop the game every minute, just let it flow, pity the performance of our team wasn't as good 😀

A few have said his legs have gone. Didn?t look it when he sprinted to right back in the 94th minute.
Bass - 6 - Very poor kick resulted in their best chance of the game which hit the post, otherwise cant recall him making a save of note despite all their pressure.
McDonald - 5 - Probably a game too far as the RCB, booked early on and couldve seen a second yellow for a cynical foul if theyd have been a bit more streetwise and made more of it.
Platt - 7 - Given more of a test by their quick striker than is usually the case, but dominant when aerial balls were coming into the box last 10 mins. Still shades POTS for me - model of consistency.
Bedeau - 6.5 - Usual excellent display, going forward first half and defensively second.
Jones - 6 - Offered some threat and quality first half, didnt really see much of the ball 2nd. Showed what he can do with one outstanding cross which probably shouldve resulted in a goal. Will debate it forever but as a wing back still feel hes more useful from the left.
Hinchy - 6.5 - Did ok, kept the ball well and worked hard off it. Is a step down from Palmer but as a young player on the fringes of the team think hes doing about as well as we can expect, and is improving.
Abbott - 7 - Great assist for the goal, lots of energy and forward threat in the first half in particular. Never stops running. Only blemish passing when he surely shouldve shot and could have spared us all 30 minutes of torture!
Tsaroulla - 7 - Have to disagree with the OP on this one, thought he had a great game. Didnt give a lot away defensively and threatened going forward, most notably with a brilliant run first half. Also had a decent penalty shout waved away. Looks so much better from the left.
Grant - 5.5 - Neat and tidy on the ball, works hard, little impact - certainly not to the level youd want from a number 10 in our team. All his games so far have been very similar; you could probably write his post-match summary before kick off.
McGoldrick - 6.5 - Not everything came off and probably guilty of overplaying at times, but the work ethic for a player of his age was incredible. A shining example.
Jatta - 6 - Took his goal well, elements of good hold-up play, looked very tired by the end which I think impacted his decision-making when he did get a rare sight of the ball.
Johnson - 7 - Solid and very calm on the ball, looks a great addition.
Gordon - 7 - A couple of good crosses and defended well against their biggest attacking threat down that side. Another one who looks a different player in his actual position.
Edwards - 7 - Had a positive impact with his energy and off the ball work to win a lot of second balls. Got to be pushing to start the next game.
Maynard - 6 - All three subs had a positive impact, but could be argued at least two needed making earlier as we were badly under the cosh throughout the second half. Expected the Johnson/McDonald sub at half-time, and having now seen Johnson play cant fathom why it wasnt. Tonight showed again the inverted wing back experiment has to stop (unavoidable with both being left footers today, but going forward if Austin/Gordon comes into the team) - Tsaroulla and Gordon so much better on their usual sides but have been stunted throughout the season needlessly. And our goal comes from a right-footed cross from the right.
Interesting tactic in ceding possession and defending with a low block at home to 23rd in the division, ultimately we got the win so you have to say it paid off. A few options for team selection on Saturday with strong performances from the subs and Palmer hopefully coming back, should mean its a decent squad to choose from.
Jodi isn't back to full match sharpness yet but it's not just that. I don't care what he prefers or what the manager thinks, the simple self-evident truth is that he's half the player on the right that he is on the left. In fact, 'half' might be too generous. When he receives the ball he looks cramped and boxed in, often having to play the pass back because of the body position he has to adopt for his first touch. I feel uncomfortable for him. It's like facing backwards on a train!
Jodi claims he likes playing on the right, and I can only think that's because it offers the chance to cut inside and shoot for glory, but opponents know what he's going to do and can cope with it more easily, whereas on the left he can beat his defender down the outside and put in great crosses. He offers far more to the team when he plays on that natural side.
If we persist with the current tactic then I fear we'll only ever see half the player we know Jodi can be. He'll still have great moments, like the one he almost had last Saturday, because he is fundamentally so talented, but he won't be the constant and consistent threat he is when he plays down the left.
Absolutely agree. Best referee of the season, and I'm not saying that to be politically correct, I'm saying it because it's true. So many refs clearly want the game to be all about them - this one didn't.

Some seem to think the ?he prefers to play on the right? wins the argument where Jones is concerned. From what Ive seen I dont care where he prefers to play, hes better on the left, even accounting for the fact hes coming back from injury.
Tsaroulla is really good on the left as well, so its a tough choice to make.
Apart from the non penalty decision the ref was excellent tonight. Didnt fall for any nonsense and was entirely right to make our players get off the pitch by the shortest route, if only there were more like her.
I thought the ref was inconsistent and out of her depth.
Mad different opinions, I thought hinchy was poor today and a massive reason why we lost the midfield battle badly. Looked to me like he was hiding.
I also thought the referee was poor, seemed to make strange decisions that annoyed both teams, missed a blatant penalty and was very inconsistent with cards for fouls.
Mcgoldrick tried really hard but his touch was off today but still our best threat.
Gordon I thought was horrific defensively, but good going forward.
Jones looks a shell of the player pre injury, he may be over it physically but mentally he looks scared of being crocked.
Platt got done for pace several times but did well.
Bedeau didn't put a foot wrong all game and was the stand out motm for me.
Mcdonald is hilariously one footed, but a good defender. If we want a solid defender who can keep it simple he's good.
Grant came into the game towards middle of first half but was anonymous for large parts.
Abbott put in a quality cross and worked hard all game, clearly far too good for this level.
Edwards was the right sub at the right time he added a lot of energy and you could see his frustration trying to marshall Gordon into defending.
Sorry for the random order, I wrote as I remembered people.
My ratings would be close to freemuzzy, Jones an improvement on Bromley where I thought he was largely ineffective and looked undercooked.
However I don't agree on Gordon. He can't defend. He is very reminiscent of Arran Nemane, allows his man far too much space to just keep advancing and then doesn't cut out the cross.
As an out and out winger he's ok, but he can't do the back in wing-back. After he came on I was watching through my fingers.
Agree pretty much about the ref although there were times where no-one seemed to know what was supposed to be happening. But most of the decisions looked right. Rather have that than a clueless control freak (like normal...).
Final point - I don't think Carlisle will go down.
Il add as well. The ref trying to let Carlisle take their free kick when grant was flat out up the pitch and after 20 seconds finally waving on the physio without even going over to him or anything was shocking.
Bass 7.2
McDonald 6.2
Platt 6.5
Bedeau 6.5
Tsaroulla 7.0
Abbott 7.8
Hinchy 7.5
Jones 6.5
Grant 6.4
McGoldrick 7.3
Jatta 7.5
Man of Match George Abbott.
