    Bigging up Birmingham

I hope Mr Evans doesn't repeat his bad mistake of going overboard saying how wonderful Birmingham City are, as he did before the home game. Why did he do that? Was he getting his excuses in first? It had a totally negative effect on our players. He needs to say go out there and try to beat them. They are not invincible. I'll be monitoring his pre match comments

A fair post Tiger,I remember those pre match interviews well. Puke inducing, sycophantic dribble! We got outplayed that day from the start and it could have been 5. It is no surprise that Birmingham are still top but a lot of teams have given them a far better game than we did that day.If we can play like we did against Charlton and Bolton we should go there and have a really good, confident go at them.No matter how good a team is for their respective division they will always succumb to a shock defeat or 2 throughout a 46 game season. For once, let it be us for a change.A repeat of Ben Wiles at Sheff United is on the cards! I am actually considering having a tenner on a Millers win. How can you lose at Burton one week and win at Birmingham the next.........that's League 1 for you.

Brum should have had a player sent off in the first few minutes.

To say how much money Birmingham have spent they are really nothing special.
They are, however, top of a very mediocre division and unfortunately we are just a contributor to that mediocrity.
