    Matchday Thread: Norwich (A) 8/2/2025

They are 8th, we're in the bottom 3. Won't be easy but we can get something from this, provided we play the right way. For this game it's most certainly not a back 3.

In 30 league games, Norwich have failed to win 19. Out of those 19, Norwich faced a back 3 only once (Bristol City). Every other side to take points off them has played a back 4.

    They've won 11 games. 5 of those 11 were against a back 3.

Those stats tell me we must not play a back 3! We'll play a back 3....

To quote the Rolling Stones from 57 years ago (can that really be true?) I’ve got ‘No Expectations’. Well not good ones anyway.
Can only see us being on the wrong end of a three goal defeat.
For me a point, our first of 2025, would be excellent, but I think the real business begins against Oxford next weekend.

Looking at another of their songs that could also apply to the current Rams fans situation, (I can't get no ) Satisfaction was released on June 1965. It's 60 this year...

I'll never forget my mums disgust on hearing that song! She wasn't tuned in as it were to the 60's, a bit of a culture shock for her! A lovely lady, a bit too nice for the anything and everything goes of that time. Lol.

I think we need to win this one. We should be that team that nobody wants to face, in the relegation zone and fighting.
    Shock 2-1 victory.

That’s exactly what we need to be. Completely agree…but it might be a bridge too far this weekend. Love you to be right.

I'm going for a good 1-1 draw, with our team out to prove themselves for any incoming manager.

Another poor decision for our offside goal.
