IF ONLY we can either a) get at least one of our wide players producing, or b) play at least 20% of our attacks through the middle, I think we'll be OK against QPR

It's one I have marked down as winnable. Who will have chosen the formation, personnel and tactics for this game? Will JE and his 2 sidekicks have had enough time to plan it, organise and get the necessary communication done adequately enough to give us a chance of seeing a top performance and result at Loftus Road?
Will they have "done their best" and get away with it due to new head coach bounce?
Will there be sufficient players, fit enough, to be a) selected and b) play in their own position?
That last sentence might be what's gone wrong for the 7 consecutive League defeats. Post Oxford, Hammy mentioned lots of walking wounded and players playing out of position out of need. That would explain some of the poor run. It also pans out with the rumour that PW got his marching orders after slating the physios and medical team in a very loud manner.
1-1
I think we'll grow into some form, but not there yet.
Hadn’t heard that rumour, MA. Interesting.
Be surprised if JE and staff haven’t watched enough footage to know at least some of what needs sorting eg. JWZ to wake up and display some urgency…stop playing across the back line when, because of injury we have zero pace/talent to take the ball forward at the end of six unnecessary passes…giving the ball away in midfield…get some decent crosses into Salvesen.
3 points probably a bridge too far this early so agreeing with RS (1-1) but you never know.

Agree, too soon to expect big changes. Firstly we need to remember how to score goals.
2-0 defeat and Eustace realises he has got a toughie job on his hands!
If there is any natural justice, then they will gift us a 1-0 win with an own goal!! Yeah I'm still sore from that playoff final we ought to have won, but hey these things even themselves out over time don't they? I'm being optimistic 2-1 win as Eustace suggests that players might want to take a little risk every now and then and give our new striker some decent service.
I think we will win. Going for a shock 3-1 away win.
Sorry to point the finger at my most recent scapegoat but that goal was down to Adam?s? sloppiness
