Too bad I didn't lob the Plymouth game into the mix, but I'm guessing it wouldn't have made any difference to the scoring on here. Sticking with the big fish was smart and, if you were prudent in your choices of scorelines, good things happened. CalverleyBoy (OOEE) and Monaco_Totty (OOEE) both hit on the 0-2 scorelines that took Wolves and Palace through to Round Five, collecting 18 points along the Wembley Way. Leeds? Well, that's what happens if you don't take these things seriously. I hope our tame loss doesn't affect our collective mojo for the league games.
Lufcjohn88 (OOOE), Pacaman (EOxE) and Sniffer999 (EOOO) each scored 15 points. The big fish are the big fish for a reason!
Sniffer storms into the top spot, leading Alf by six points. With the minnows all getting swallowed, Nasty's regular 2-1 predictions didn't pan out this weekend and he is now back, slumming it in a share of third spot with everyone's second favourite LeedsMad moderator, Orgoner.
All were present and correct.
There were no draws, so Johnny_Default remains on 66. Any Strike One, Strike Two or Strike Three posters would've scored nowt for their total lack of effort.
The average active score this week was 10.89. Betterer!
The results
(FAC R4) Wigan v Fulham (1-2)
(FAC R4) Birmingham v Newcastle (2-3)
(FAC R4) Blackburn v Wolves (0-2)
(FAC R4) Doncaster v Palace (0-2)
The next fixtures are out as a separate thread.
All the best! Stay safe!![]()
