Lions view on the game on Sat.....

yes we managed to nick it in injury time but other than that it was not a great game to see. I thought that some of your players seemed to lack confidence, which comes after a bad spell. What I do not understand is why did you not get in more players during the Jan window, Millwall got 8. Because Derby should be staying in the Championship, you had 28 k in the ground yesterday, plus Sky money which must generate a lot of cash, It is not a one off either, but you still have plenty of points to go for so hope you stay up.B We are back on BBC 1 next sat to play crippled alice in the 5th round of the FA Cup so expect to get beat, especially as they have just bought our best player Esse for 14.5 million.

It wasn't a great game, did improve in the 2nd half and could have gone either way.

Players wise, i think some of this is down to aiming for quality over quantity (no disrespect intended to your signings as I don't know about them), I think to a degree we may have done this but we are massively short on competition for places (and depth), available squad players who can compete is costing us as too many of our players are in poor form. Another reason I think is the caution our owner is taking with spending money, he is a reluctant owner who is probably never going to spend a lot without external investment.

Earlier in the season it looked to be working but a lot of injuries have cost us dearly, I know all clubs get them but I think the lack of depth , which you allude to, is now costing us.

Good luck for the rest of the season too. I think unless we pick up surprise points soon, say a win at boro next week, then we are destined for L1.

We don't do great games or half decent ones for that matter Claw! So long as our opponents find their way to the ground they're up for their easiest 3 points of the season!
Anyway, thanks for the good wishes. Enjoy the rest of your season (I doubt we will), we may bump into your lot again in a couple of seasons down the line!

Pretty dour 1st half. Improved 2nd. Not a shot on target although we did hit the bar. I think Clarke will be out for a long stretch and I believe we have seen the last of Ozoh in a Derby shirt. Nevertheless, I still had a grand weekend back in God's own piece of the world.

It doesn't look good and many are now predicting relegation. Hopefully JE can get things working better in the course of this week. He then, IMO has 3 reasonably 3 free hits. A month ago, nobody would have thought anything other than a defeat at Boro was feasible. Their fortunes have turned and they've now lost 5 in a row, are down to 13th and are 7 points off the playoffs. To finish in the playoffs they would have to catch and pass 7 other sides. They won't go down but they're not making the playoffs either. There has to be a chance of a point up there. Then we get Blackburn and Coventry and I'm not expecting anything from either game despite being in attendance.

    After that we get...

    Plymouth (A), PNE (H), Swansea (A), Burnley (H), Pompey (A), Luton (H), WBA (A), Hull (A), Stoke (H).

Possibly a point at Swansea (?), nowt from Burnley. WBA we've already beaten once so a point maybe (?). The rest, we simply have to win if we are to have any chance of staying up.

    DTID.
