Thread: Will we ever score this season from a corner?

Will we ever score this season from a corner?

I think Dara O Shea`s header against Luton was our last goal from a corner.Today was another brilliant example of how to waist corners.WTF were Anthony and Edwards doing on that short corner in the second half? It was laughable.

The short corners were really poorly executed. I think there were three or four in the second half consecutively taken from the left and wasted. We looked more dangerous when the ball was played directly into the box.

We haven't got a Chris wood waiting in the box.

We can't score hitting balls directly into the penalty box so to try something different is surely a good thing. Right?

Our main problem is our 2 centre halfs who are poor in the air at attacking set pieces.

Throughout the season the delivery has been decent but Esteve and CJ have been miles off it. If O'Shea had have stayed I guarantee he would have scored close to double figures this season

If Esteve wants to play at the very highest level this is something he will need to improve on, he rarely if ever scores from set pieces

Esteve was magnificent yesterday all across the park. Until the arrival of Edwards he was our best player by a country mile. We now look like a team that can actually win this league and I really believe that.

The most disappointing thing about our corners is that we never even look likely to score from one, and our coaching staff seem to have no idea how to put it right either.

Foster's over 6', he should be good for corners.

Foster can't head, he can't shoot, he's just a lazy good for nothing.
