Matchday thread: Rams v Millwall 22/2/2025

    Currently 2624 home tickets available.

They concede an average of 1 goal per game. They score at the same rate.

We concede 1.4 per game. We score 1 a game... or we did until recently.

Confidence shot, squad needing to learn new things, fanbase getting very anti on socials. Not a breeding ground for positivity.

Given a crowd fully behind the team and a following wind we could scrape a point from one of our lower half opponents. Hopefully, the squad will have a fruitful week learning more of what JE et al require from them and are in a position to put it all into practice. I really can't believe we'll be as bad as we were for the last 75 minutes at QPR.

1-1 is the best we can hope for, IMO.

Much will depend on the personnel available so I’ll reserve judgement.

Crucial match against a side who are probably my least favourite and who I don’t think we’ve taken a home point off since 2017.()

Few fond memories (1994 the obvious exception) but a result is long overdue so fingers crossed!

I don't generally have fond memories of playing them either.

We do need a win and I think we will get it, scrappy 2-1

Same thinking as Sith, except I think we'll pull out a thumping (remember, like we did against Pompey, these drugs aren't that bad).
    3-0 Derby.

I can see where you are coming from, what with the new manager bounce and you do have a great stadium and fans however why is it that you are near the bottom of the table as the Rams just got promoted last season, would have thought you would be midtable at least. But I do not think the Lions will be a walkover. Looking forward to the game.

I don't think the Lions are a walkover, but Lions like a nap, and I'm hoping they will be in a decent slumber for our match.

Have you seen our results in 2025? We’ve yet to win, or look like winning, so no one’s expecting a ‘walkover’.

Hopefully with a new manager, new coach and new signing we’ll have found some fresh impetus and, seeing as you lot are safe from relegation and probably too far off the top six, and we’re perilously placed…then hopefully we’ll be more motivated.

The bookies have the 'Rams as favourites for this one, however, those ITK say never back the favourites in an early kick off, who's right?

Can Eustace get this bunch of no-hopers and misfits to produce anything under the general heading of football? Doubtful methinks!
If we get a 1-1 I'll consider it unreal, so I'll go 1-2 defeat!
