    Ratings v Fleetwood

Bass 6 One brain fart for the penalty, plenty of good saves
Johnson 5 Slow to react at crucial moments
Platt 6 Carried out defensive duties efficiently
Gordon 6 Showed well most of the time
    Bedeau 7 Usual full-on commitment
Palmer 6 Generally on hand to receive and give but poor corners
Abbot 9 Goal, assist and everywhere on the pitch. Clear MoM
    Grant 5 Another anonymous showing
Whittaker 6 Showed willing but often out-muscled but helped in lead-up to Abbot?s goal
Tsaroulla 5 Failed to deliver when required
Jatta 6 Three bad misses, but on hand to salvage a point

Subs hard to judge on limited time
Traore 6 Obvious energy and worth a full game
Jones 6 Composed in possession but no magic
    Macari 6 Welcome return
Jarvis 5 Not the impact sub needed

Referee 5 Some weird decisions, none of which went Notts? way

    Excellent ratings...agree with most
I'd give Bass and Johnson less than you've given them, Platt and Palmer more.
Yeah, Abbott outstanding 9/10 and runaway MoM

I'd give Jatta a 5 maximum. I thought he was woeful today - no touch, poor decision making and bad misses. He redeemed himself with the goal, but otherwise I thought it was a very poor showing.

Ratings about right but Platt & Palmer 1 pt behind Abbott who was back to his self today, always there & available
4 Tsaroulla is a glorified Check back Chicken/Cameron. Gets played into good positions but very rarely takes the man on. Backwards or side ways. Fails to deliver. Been a big disappointment so far this season for me

Looking at those ratings, carried to many passengers today

Agree totally. We need to get some of the players in the gym to gain some upper body strength! I Lost count how many times we were muscled off the ball in midfield today. Not sure what will help Grant get more involved in a game though ?
Better performance but still nowhere near what?s needed.

definitely. Notice how much more 'solid' Abbott has become since the start of the season. His rate of development may be unusual, but Traore, Edwards and all the new young ones save Johnson could all do with upper body work. Although I'd imagine it's a balancing act with their energy at this stage as priority would be short term performance.

Absolutely agree on Tsaroulla.. does put in the odd decent cross but passes it backwards so much.. possibly the worst shot on him I have seen in modern football 😀 really expected him to offer more but been a huge disappointment.

I'm still holding hopes for Tsaroulla, I saw enough when he hit his best form of the season for us (around Oct?)
It's been stop/start from him and he certainly hasn't found his form since returning from the latest injury. The next 5 games will be crucial in deciding who our 1st choice WBs will be for the run-in. I think he'll be given first shot at it but we absolutely must see a clear improvement curve. And any new injury or reoccurence? Then forget it, he'd have to show much better in the 2nd year of his contract.
