Cardy got away with it tonight- big time.

I have already read some of tonights after match comments on here , and I can?t think of a word strong enough to sum up that shocking performance. We were cruising in the first half, took our two chances well, and then it went haywire ,as soon as Cardiff pulled a goal back.
In the second half there was only one team in it, and wanting to win the game. That team wasn?t us. Cardiff deserved a draw , and had they converted that glorious chance at the end , they would have finished with a draw. They dominated the second half, as we surrendered possession , and the territory to go with it.At the other end, Foster again, could have been a hero to the Clarets who made the long journey to the Welsh Capital. Instead he fluffed it. Surprise , surprise. Chuck in a couple of stupid , unnecessary yellow cards ,and that sums it up.
When the team came over at the end to acknowledge the travelling fans, Parker looked really embarrassed to be going home with the win. He knew it, and so did we. Despite the welcome three points, I left the stadium feeling more than a bit disappointed with the performance. The fans deserve better than this . I know one thing- I couldn?t watch this every week.

That won?t go down well on here Mal - when I say it a win is a win ffs

On my part I could t agree more I posted a few times now that Parker could go for me.

We always struggle when they bring big strong boys on and we simply get overrun , also when we eventually do change personnel we don?t change shape or stabilise to compose ourselves.

We shrink like violets and concede possession all the time inviting teams in.

If we?re going whole hog for last night the defence looked poor - Esteve - Pires and Roberts struggled badly - after 5 mins of second half wide men ineffective - gone not involved no outlet or offer as they get pushed off and bullied - hence we retreat backwards and are under pressure for long periods.

I posted the other day if we don?t go up Parker will be gone and if we do go we?ll get smashed playing like this and he?ll have to go anyway.

He?s brought Edward?s in and I like him but he wasn?t the answer for us , we already have a benson for impact ( similar players in my eyes ).

Moan, moan pfhucking moan. We beat what’s in front of us and winning ugly wins promotions. In the bar last night on one screen Arsenal were dismantling PSV 7-1, Real were playing Atletico Madrid on another, we are miles off elite status but this season’s job is to get back to the EPL and we are in with a chance. I had a few bevvies last night, remind me did we win last night?

Words just fail me after reading the 1st 2 posts, and thanks for being the voice of reason BT

Some of our fans are entitled and clueless who just want and expect us to turn up every week, smash the opposition and stroll back into the Premier league playing amazing football, well life just isn't that simple

Stop bloody moaning and support the manager, who is doing an unbelievable job after the sh!t show of last August

If I hadn't have known the score I would have thought we would have been beaten after reading some of the above, unbelievable

I didn't see last night game, but I have been saying for quite a while that in my personal opinion. Parker won't be with Burnley that long.

Despite where we are in the league, I just believe that his style of football will catch up with him. Because it is awful to watch. They will become a point when most won't want to watch it anymore. I also believe that he wasn't the clubs first choice anyway from the beginning. Van Nistelrooy was. Ok, we all know how that has worked out now with Leicester. But at the time, I think he was who we really wanted. Not Parker.

Also think what he did against Preston was complete disrespect to all those 6000 fans who paid there hard earned money to watch a clear 'can't be arse with the cup' performance. Josh Brownhill post match interview pretty much confirmed what the managers message must have been before the game. I lost count the amount of times he referred to Tuesday night being more important.

Losing wasn't so much the issue, but the attitude was total disrespect to the fans.

Everyone is entitled to there thoughts, but not taken with Parker to be honest. I can't help but think he's another Southgate, no balance to his approach. All one sided football. Defence Defence defence.

Football is a two sided game.

Absolutely shocking that we conceded a goal last night. Where was our much vaunted defence? More clean sheets than a luxury hotel: are you having a laugh? Pace Out! Parker Out! We should have gone for Ruud Van Kneestillsore when we had the chance.
