    Disasi was immense

What an important win and the first I think after a CL game. Olsen had a good game and I’m gripping the couch cushions with less force when the ball comes his way. Disasi was immense 5 clearances, blocks, a crucial pass and his turn and chase pace is impressive. I thought we controlled the game well in the last five to ten minutes and generally overall despite the obvious deflation after the toenail offside.

We still keep leaving goals in the bank. For and against is miserable.

    What’s your take folks?

Hope all the regs are well as can be in these anxious times.

A proper away performance which we haven't seen for some time, was like when UE first arrived - thought we competed with them really well and on another day we win by a bigger margin. A much better defensive display, not so good keeping possession in front of the back 4 - Disasi was unreal and he's right up for it isn't he.

Olsen gives me no confidence at all even though he looked a bit better, Martinez hasn't been quite as good as last season but even so the gap in class between the two is huge. Feel for Maalen, he's hardly getting an sniff - good to see our injury list getting smaller, hopefully at least one of Barkley/Onana back for rotation as Youri & SJM are knackered.

Despite our indifferent league form we still have to play the teams around us so a top 6 place is still up for grabs, FA Cup is winnable and hopefully we get the first goal on Weds to leave Brugge chasing it & taking risks.
