Personally think there?s trouble behind the scenes and the players have stopped playing for Maynard.

Mine are very similar. You missed out Johnson who was a bit unlucky to be one of those taken off at HT, Whitaker and Palmer must have been looking on sheepishly in the changing room

    Bass - 6
    Johnson 6
    Bedeau - 6 MoM
    Platt - 5
    Hinchy - 6
    Grant - 6
    Whittaker - 3
    Palmer - 5
    Tsaroulla - 5
    Jatta - 4
    Abbott - 6

    Subs
    McDonald 6
    Macari 6
    Jarvis 5
    Edwards/Gordon - N/As

The anticlough, yes mistakenly missed out Johnson. He was no worse than anyone else. We are missing McG, JJ and dare a I say it Crowley.

Very generous ratings but you?d have needed to be there to fully form an opinion including assessment of effort (very poor across most of the team). Frankly it was nailed on that Johnson would come off at half time as he was having an absolute mare.

I didn't watch the game but this quote from a neutral sums things up for me.

Its Whitaker isn't even the only culprit. As much as Maynard deserves to be sacked, he's been handed so many spineless and entitled players who are obviously nowhere near the standard required.

Looks like I'm slightly more generous, but share the overall assessment.

Bass 6 Would have saved second goal on most occasions
Bedeau 6 Not a lot worked for him but plenty of effort
Johnson 5 Still not on the pace
Platt 6 In the thick of it and picked up bruises
Hinchy 5 One decent tackle, little else to note
Whittaker 4 Needs to get stronger
Palmer 5 Wrong footed to allow shot for their second and missed a decent chance
Abbot 7 Always running, always available and shook off the rough treatment
Grant 6 No obvious negatives, but nothing exciting
Tsaroulla 5 Shackled most of the time, one off-target shot
Jatta 5 Harsh to criticise a striker for a defensive failure and up front hit the bar for third consecutive game

McDonald 6 Couple of errors in possession but showed some drive
Macari 6 Seemed to stifle danger in his channel and helped in attack
Jarvis 5 Needs to match strength to glimpses of skill
Gordon and Edwards not on long enough to judge

These look just about spot on... Jatta hitting the bar 3 games in a row is just depressing... our bench today was one of the worst i have seen... simply nothing on it to change a game... depressing stuff and can't see it changing at this stage... mid table here we slide 🛝

I'm sorry but some of these scores are way to generous. Apart from Abbott I can't give anyone above a 5 and some way below that .
