    Alloa

The thought of going into this game with only two fit defenders and a makeshift defence gives me the fear.

That was surprisingly enjoyable. A right good effort by the players. No failures today from Jordan at the top who put in a power of work with little coming of for him to Stewart in goal who made a fabulous first half save.
Smith probably rightly got the sponsors nod but I thought Reece Lyon had a great game.
    More of this please.

My first visit to Palmerston was in 1969 and yesterday I did the unthinkable ! Yes for the first time ever when my pals left the pub to go to the match I just stayed behind and look what happens.

Sorry Stravaigar, but that was the most enjoyable game all season. As usual, Queens should have been out of sight after 30 minutes but Alloa came back hard. Some great stops from our keeper kept us in front and overall we more than deserved the points with every QOS player giving a 100 percent.

It?s just a pity that that chap hadn?t lost the plot a few weeks ago, because asses have most definitely been kicked and that performance yesterday has been what we?ve all been asking for. Furthermore, if that?s how we play with very few fit players, then we can only imagine what we?ll be like with a full squad!
A huge well done to every player yesterday, but you?ve shown what you can do, so no more excuses please.
