After a fine run of 6 games mostly wins without a loss, Charlton were put to the sword by Peterborough at their Weston Homes stadium, their first defeat in 7.
The Add1cks started well with the high press Godden, Gillesphey having chances. Posh scored from an indirect free kick kept out but the rebound ended up in the back of the net. The second goal came on the counter just before half time though Small's shot was kept out by Jed Steer just before Posh scored again.
Charlton came out on the front foot in the 2nd half, with Berry and Aneke having goal scoring opportunities. Posh showed their intent on the counter and with ten minutes remaining scored their third. Despite the loss Charlton remain in 4th place and will hope to bounce back against Huddersfield at home next.
Peterborough goals: Hughes 38, Odoh 43, Mothersille 79
