Sad news, perhaps you could post a photo of him , maybe some of us would recognise him then.
I'm not sure if any of you on here knew Paul, but he was my Notts County mate who I used to go with to all the games. Paul was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour last year and sadly passed away on 28th March this year, aged 59.
He was an avid 'gamer' and helped set up Wargames many years ago and became a bit of a cult figure in the gaming world. He was a great artist, who designed and created many of the characters.
I'm not sure over the last few years how many times he went to see Notts, but I have a few Notts friends who aren't on here, who he kept in touch with.
We all had a connection through playing football together and we also played with someone called Andrew Dolloway, who's business used to film all the Notts games in the 80s and early 90s, from the gantry in the old Main Stand.
Anyway, I'm not sure if the club will be doing a commemoration for Paul at the next game (obviously, that's up to his family), but he was an avid fan, and as I said, we followed Notts all over the country together.
Rest in Peace Paul.

RIP Paul and sorry for the loss of your friend
Sorry for the loss of your friend LullaPie. From the article & photo, I didn?t know him, but I did know Andrew Dolloway. We both played for Cornwater FC at Ravenshead round about 1978-81. Small world?.
I know some funny stories about 'Dolla'. He was a bit of an entrepreneur. When I knew him, the team I played for were in the Chad Sunday League - I was only about 17 or so - a baptism of fire. Most of our team was made up from Ravenshead and Kirkby. Cornwater was our home pitch.
