But at least they have smashed the smuggling gangs. They have also cleaned up the image of taking freebie?s and it?s obvious that we are now under a government that tells the truth. Good old Labour.

LM, fair points but in all fairness the first two aren't Government run/driven but they don't clamp down on them to stop the rises while the shareholders still get their Multi Millions in dividends and they get a slap on the wrist for polluting our waters.

    3. They go up annually as costs just rise and rise, something we all have to accept.

    4. Money for road building and pot hole repairs, it has to come from somewhere but it's always let smash the motorist and business road users, which from them is always passed onto the consumer of goods delivered.

    5. Should be abolished with immediate effect and the BBC should be told to generate it's own revenue through advertisement like all other channels do. They may even make more money than what they receive form licensing.

    6. If you can afford to buy great whacking mansions why not tax them more, they can afford it. Then again the young hard working person/couple who only want a 400,000 property also get whacked, is that right?

    7. Hidden taxes. Now how do you answer this one?
For me it's not so much hidden but this and any Government should challenge the really big companies who register their business abroad yet take Billions not Millions from the UK spender, only to pay a mere pittance in taxes to our Government. Meanwhile their buildings and businesses are scattered across the UK and because of the loophole of registering abroad they thrive. That needs addressing more than anything.
