    O/T Seasons restaurant Wickersley

Some really good deals on this month (June). I'm sure some on here have dined there already, it's well worth a look. More important aside the excellent food, the Jazz nights are great. A 4 piece band with great sounds offered while you dine.

I've already booked a couple of nights from what's on offer throughout the month.

NB. CAM, if you are over here at the mo get your good Lady up there, she won't be disappointed.

I won a ?50 voucher from the Hospitality and went there. Nothing special but the bill of ?117 was over the top for the food. Ann had the roast Duck and said it was good.

Been to better places, but the place is quite nice. We were in the Bollywood Indian across road on Friday, that was nice......and cheaper...lol

Not there at the mo Brin. From avondale's post it seems a bit pricy for my pocket. Do they do a senior's discount

CAM, the specials through June run from 25 pound for two courses, ample by the way or, three courses for 30 pounds. A mere pittance for three courses these days.

My local chippy now charges 12.95 for fish and chips, now that?s ridiculous when you compare that to the Seasons restaurant where you are in plush surroundings and served by someone and being entertained by a very good quartet of a band.

No comparison at all receiving a starter main and sweet course for. 30 pounds.

Hadley's Restaurant at number 11 Bridge Street, Whitby charges just short of 20 pounds for a decent sized cod or haddock, chips, peas, tea, bread and butter. Very tasty!!
It pays to book in advance.

Weekends & Bank Holiday they have live music outside from 2:00pm - 5:00pm.

If weather is nice, it's perfect. Very nice setting. There's an ice cream shed, outside bar, pizza shed as well as the pub menu.

Not bothered about a band serenading you! No foreign crap. Old fashioned English food homemade hard to find round here. Not travelling far for fish & chips.

Thanks Brin, sounds a bit more doable. What are the beer prices like? Over here that's what gets you. Reasonable bar meals are around $20 but when you add in tax and tips, the beers works out at about $12/pint.

One big advantage of the place you mention, at least Gru won't be there
