If it descends into personal abuse then we'll lock it. As it stands, it's a heated debate which is no surprise, given the subject matter so i guess the question is 'does it belong on a football forum'?

We used to have an off-topic board for this sort of stuff but, given thst we don't have that any more, I think we need room to discuss other stuff-current affairs, music, anything, really. as long as it's tagged OT, I think it's ok. We don't have many of these threads and people can ignore them if they don't want to take part.

As an online community, there are times when folk want to discuss other stuff with the people they have got to know through a shared interest and, personally, I'm ok with that.

Apologies if this isn't the response you wanted and I know there's potential for the thread to go tits up....let's hope it doesn't, eh.

I doubt that. Trump seems to be as much anti Ukraine as he is anti Palestine.

Only interested in either if he can personally benefit from A) If he can divi out Ukraine between him and Putin sharing that country's mineral wealth by using blackmail and turfing out of their natural homeland the Palestinians to make it a Trump style riviera on borrowed or stolen money of course

Lads, I enjoy the banter on this site for the football. It takes my mind off all the political sh1t.

Living in the middle east is all everyone talks about.

I do hope we can get back to the football craic and leave all this other stuff to the crooks in Whitehall.

Not like any of us can change owt anyway. Certainly wouldn't want to see the community divided over something non-football related.
