    New recruitment and Eddies secret

I can honestly see a huge turnover this next window with 4/5/6 new faces, but only if they are 100% right to fit into the squad.

I believe that Eddie has got something special with this squad which is missing in the majority of prem squads.

Just look at any of the pics of our players, whether as individuals or as a group and they always look very naturally happy.

This goes a long, long way to success.

Harmony, unity and fraternity are key drivers to success in team sports. Eddie and the back room team have created a winning environment which any young ambitious and their agents will be taking note of.

We've got a good group of hardworking professionals with a Cup win under their belt and a bright future. Securing the UCL qualification will make us a very exciting destination indeed.

Delap from Ipswich will be very interested in joining Newcastle United for example. He'd be the prefect player to join and compete with Osula to take the weight off Isak.

I think you could be right Pat.

We have Europe already so we need more faces to boost our chances there.

I think we'll see promotions from U21s, new squad and some marquees.

I?d definitely want us to have our hat in the ring for Delap, think there?ll be a lot of teams in for him, apart from City I can?t think of anyone who wouldn?t be offering the 30m for him.

I?m not sure if he would want to be a second choice, because Isak is clearly our first choice striker, but Eddie has shown (when Wilson was fit) that he gives time in most games and some starts to his strikers, and the No 9 will become available when Wilson leaves.

If we do some quick business in terms of a right forward, a right side centre back, then we have some real depth to show we are serious about competing right at the top of the table.

Can see Longstaff going, glad he?s been part of the trophy win and has a medal, but really think having someone who can offer more to rotate with Tonali in the CDM position is a must for next season too.

That?s the 4 main positions, and Trafford in, with one of our keepers leaving - most likely Vlachodimas, if not also one of Pope or Dubs too, with Ruddy?s one year deal ending and him joining the coaching staff, will give us a very nicely balanced squad with some real depth.

Think next season will be a big one for Miley, and we need to be giving him games becasue we?re going to need some rotation if we are going to compete in Europe and on the domestic fronts.

Could also see Barnes going, with Willock moving forward to deputise for Gordon (was really impressed by him in that position against Brum) and back filling with another midfielder along the lines of someone to cover when Joelinton is unavailable or being rested.

So I?m think 6 first team players in, and 3 possibly 4 (if 2 keepers go) out.

Also we have to remember the youngsters available to move up from the academy to strengthen the squad as freebees.

Another Miley or even two equivalents would be superb. There must be a few of them on the verge of being ready, and if Longstaff moves on then it's 100% profit

Cunha liked from Wolves. IT's a lot of money. Great player but are we gonna spend think end of ?50 on a 2nd striker?

He's right footed and doesn't play much down the right preferring the left flank

    His season's heat map. https://www.sofascore.com/player/matheus-cunha/886363

The siging doesn't make sense to me but you never know. We signed Tino and Hall which were head scratchers... They turned out to be mint!

Don't get me wrong, he's mint like but doesn't make sense IMO. Unless we're going to sign that calibre of player in the Right Wing Kubo, Right CB Huijsen & Swap Longstaff for Douglas Luiz perhaps

Signing those 4 would cost north of ?200million, absolutely nailed on title contenders if we did bring those 4 in + Trafford in Goal

Over to Mr Mitchell for his starring role in the summer.

I dont think well sign Cunha. Great player but wrong temperament for our squad.

There are better value options out there that are specialists in the precise positions we need to strengthen. Rather than signing a Swiss army knife we need to sign sniper rifles in each position. We already have a group of players who can play multiple positions.

    Agree 100% with this.

He can win games on his own but he also has got himself sent off for stupid things that have then massively impacted Wolves for a significant number of games.

He is also in the top 5 players in the league for walking rather than running.

That isn't a player that Howe would want as far as I can see.

Equally - happy to be proven wrong

I was just watching 'Youtube' clips whilst on The Throne He's class but I do prefer the look of that Bakayoko fella from PSV.

I know those highlight reels don't mean anything but Bakayoko is just a more Right wing specific specialist. However, he doesn't have a right boot at all. Senor 1 leg, think Ben Arfa without the sulk!
