Morecambe had to sign their whole team at once from whoever happened to be available after needing to release virtually their entire squad due to the ownership situation there. I think the fact they're listed above us on this list (and Vale for that matter!) probably gives us reason to doubt its accuracy.

None of these figures are public, are they? So where are they pulling them from?

Still, I would expect us to punch above our weight in terms of expenditure. The club's been very well run since the brothers took over. So the chart is at least plausible to me.

The dates given for Morecambe signing players reflect this.
