    Swansea v Hull

    Swansea v Hull, Fri 18 April 15:00
Just four games left of this season of turmoil on and off the field.
Finally we’ve got a coach that’s getting us results with a massive turnaround in form and we need to sign him up before he gets poached by another club.
We come into this match off the back of three straight wins, the last one a shock win at high flyers Sunderland, who were already assured of a playoff place. It was sweet revenge for the 2-3 defeat last Dec 14 in the reverse fixture after we were 2-0 up, two late goals clinching the win for Sunderland. Williams was critical of the team afterwards “Miles off the level. Miles off the top six level. We're not even close. That's very obvious after watching that”.
Back to Hull who play better away (W7 D4 L10 F19 A24) than at home (W4 D7 L9 F21 A25) which has put them in a precarious position just two points of the dreaded drop. Ironically we lost the reverse fixture at Hull 2-1 on Dec 21 to a late Burstow goal. It will be a tough match against a team fighting for survival in the Championship but there is a newly found resilience within our team under Sheehan.
We look forward to this game that kicks off the Easter holiday fixtures, with another game on Easter Monday at QPR. It’s traditionally a time of unpredictable results, and we hope for a bumper crowd to cheer the lads on to victory this Good Friday.

Should be a good atmosphere with a near sell out crowd, tickets have been heavily discounted:

Kids for a pound is back for the Hull match. It?s half-term and families will be attracted by this offer of discounted tickets for all.
No injury concerns reported, let?s hope we can continue the good run of results under Sheehan.
Just four matches left of the season. Free coach travel to QPR match on Monday, 15 coaches hired by the owners to take the fans, nice gesture.

Hull drew their match in hand 1-1 at home to Coventry last Monday and are now 3 points clear of Cardiff who are third from bottom.
Cardiff now in a very precarious position after losing at home to fellow strugglers Stoke last Saturday.
They should have got Neil Warnock in to rescue them, he’s very experienced in these situations and a good motivator who knows the club well.
I wouldn’t like to see them go down as the local derbies are something to look forward to.
I don’t get the silly hatred that some fans of both clubs have for each other, with some Swansea ‘fans’ suggesting that we should purposely lose against Hull in order to get Cardiff relegated, not true fans in my eyes.

Hannes Delcroix is a doubt for the Hull game after an adductor strain in training.
(Adductor strain or injury to the adductor muscle group is a common cause of medial leg and groin pain, especially among athletes)

    Swansea 1 (Vipotnik 51’ pen) - Hull 0
A hard fought win this afternoon against a stubborn defensive team that were playing for a point. It took a penalty by Vipotnik to win the game but we were by far the better side, we just couldn’t get that second goal.
Four straight wins and no goals conceded is no mean feat in the Championship, thanks to Sheehan. If they don’t give him the job permanently there will be a lot of angry fans to contend with.
If only they had got rid of Williams several games sooner Sheehan would’ve got us to the playoffs. The owners hesitancy has cost us.
