MillersMad Matchthread - The Millers v Mansfield

    Joyeuses Paques a tous!

On paper this should be an easier match to the previous ones but we are Rotherham and we still have the same players even though the management has changed.
Congratulations to Matt Hamshaw for signing his new 3 year deal. His backroom staff will change in the summer apart from Wogga. MT has got a whole host of friends and contacts in football and it ranges far and wide. Don't forget that he made friends with international players whilst playing for England and when he signed for the pigs they were the third best team in England. It wasn't untill he started playing that they went downhill

Mansfield will be tough though and will want to hit the magical 50 points today. We should have some momentum from the last 4 matches and be a bit fresher today. Some players will be back from injury but will they be played? For me Kelly would or should be in because of his form other than the Stockport match when he was suffering from an illness and before that he was great.

I'm looking forward to it again. Bloody hell it is nice to want a match to start after the season we have had.

    Enjoy the match everyone

    COME ON YOU REDS!!!!!

    That's better

Yes really looking forward to this one, more so because of Matt's constant pitch on using and bringing through the youngsters.

All depends though on how the game is flowing before their introduction if any. On the other hand, he might not have a choice and may have to use one or two of them. However it falls, good luck to them if they get playing time.

Being present on the day, I recall the match at theirs earlier on this season and to be honest the conditions were atrocious, same for both sides I know but, it didn't help. Didn't find them anything special and if it wasn't for the fluke back header laying it on for their player to score then we could at least have taken a point on the day.

Hopefully we get to address that today and take all 3 points. Matt's first official home game as our newly appointed Manager so let's make some noise for him from those in attendance. I'm meeting up with CAM pre match for a chat so that'll be nice.

Refreshing change not to be feeling incredibly nervous at this stage of the season didn?t realise Matt played for England - every day is a learning day. Hopefully the lads will put on a good display today whatever the result

All the way through to under 20s but it stopped when he did his cruciate. The sad thing was he did it and on the day he was told that he was going to start a game he did it again.

No Kelly or Hugill and they've been replaced by academy prospects on the bench: James Clarke and Lewis Clarke.

Morning Frog?n?all. Not much to lose; not a lot to gain except a little self esteem. Hopefully a good day for us. Sorry to hear Kelly won?t be there.

Website not recognising my log in details. Watched a game on tablet last time so gone back and logged out of that but still won't recognise my log ins.

@Frof - didn't you have a solution for this? Help!
