Swans fans will be frustrated and wondering what on earth is going on with the owners regarding their hesitancy in appointing Sheehan full time. The fans want him and the players have made it clear that they want him.
It’s deja vu time again, just like the owners hesitated to sack Williams until relegation was a real possibility, same with Martin previously. This time the wolves are circling ready to pounce and snatch Sheehan away. With the likes of Brighton, Chelsea, Leicester, Norwich, West Brom and Cardiff searching for their next manager, they will be watching how superbly well he’s performing in his interim role at Swansea.
With only two games left of his tenure the silence from those in charge is deafening. With no contact from the hierarchy and no job offer forthcoming what would you do in his position? His agent could well be in discussions with other clubs as we speak.
Sheehan can further enhance his cv with another two games left. First up are Millwall, three points ahead of us and still in contention for a play-off spot.
Last Saturday they beat Norwich 3-1 at The Den to recover from their 4-1 defeat at Blackburn previous match. They are in good form apart from that hiccup and are formidable opponents on home turf winning their last four games there.
Swans are also in good form winning five of their last six matches to shoot up the table and even give them a mathematical chance of a play-off place. It is so maddening that they have run out of games, with such top form a play-off place could have become a reality.
They sit at the top of the form table over the last six matches, outperforming all the top sides including Leeds and Burnley.

A hugely disappointing afternoon as the Swans went down by the odd goal to play-off contenders Millwall.
Swans were surprisingly lethargic first-half and they paid the price when Saville fired home unmarked at the far post after a shot was unluckily deflected off Cullen into Saville’s path for an easy chance.
Second half the Swans were the better side but just could not get the equaliser. Vipotnik and Eom twice wasted chances, plus a diving save from Ronald’s volley.
Hard to take but our unbeaten run has ended.
One thing is for sure we need more firepower if we are to challenge next season.
A decent striker and we would have won that match today.

We should have at least drawn that game. It looked a poor first-half from Swans but it took an unlucky deflection for Millwall to score.
A much better second half, two missed chances each from Eom and Vipotnik and a diving save from a Ronald shot, no goals, no equaliser and a disappointing defeat.

This is football boys. A game of two halves, we didn’t take our chances and it’s a defeat on the road. A draw was a fair result but not to be.
I think we missed Darling badly and I’m sure we wouldn’t have lost if he’d been playing.
We have got to tie him down with a new contract, he works so well with Cabango, I don’t think Delcroix is the answer.
If not Darling then 6’6” Welsh centre-back Joe Low from Wycombe Wanderers, who we almost signed in January.
His contract is up at the end of the season and even if Darling stays we need competition and cover in that position.

From a Lions fan, thought your boys played well, certainly you played for the win and maybe that left you a bit exposed at the back, but you had 17,000 fans baying on the Lions so now we are just goal diff outside top 6. We have beaten the Clarets down the Den this season but very tall task to beat them at Turf Moor. You dont have Cardiff to beat next season but you do have Wrexham, how times change.
