Any thoughts of renewing rivalry with Wrecsum over

Regardless of what happens next week our past 'rivals' are out of sight and in tier 2.

I know they are not really our rivals. It was a good competition whilst it lasted but it seems that if the Championship is the promised land for the likes of us then their approach has reaped rewards already.

They have to be begrudgingly admired.

Their owners were interested in us before they plumped for Wrexham. I would love to know what or who put them off.

Surely thats obvious - the premier league club across the road. Wrexham made sense as they have to whole of north wales as floating / potential fans.

Apparently other way around. Had the Danes not taken us over though, we were going to be taken over by Gerard Pique's investment group.

There wasn't a Premier League club across the road then. Well done Wrexham and well done Phil Parkinson, everyone assumed he'ds be long gone by now but he's still proving everyone wrong.

A 'real' version of Munto (in a way - no slight on Rob and Ryan intended) which just shows what might have been.

I wouldn't even for that far. We had Campbell, Schmeichel and Sven. They've invested a hell of a lot and have been helped by their owners own stardom but they've invested shrewdly without going for ludicrous targets.

Vardy will be playing there next season - no doubt.

My thought is that we won't be renewing a rivalry with Wrexham for a long time.
