It?s all gone quiet over there

Someone had to do it sorry I don?t forgive easily for the years of sarcasm, ridicule and all, the other words I can?t think of now.

You've got to feel for their long-suffering fans though haven't you? No, me neither.

I'll offer patronising, mocking and belittling for starters! What a brilliant weekend, we beat Harrogate to confirm a playoff place at least, the scum have their dreams of an FA Cup final shattered, and the inbreds get stuffed at Birmingham. And the other Notts thrash Sus*** to go clear at the top of the table.

I have been around long enough to realise it could all turn sour next weekend, so we have to enjoy it while we can. And I'm really enjoying it!

Is the dream starting to unravel for them, they've dropped down to 6th after yesterday's results and no FA Cup final for them. Oh dear.

I've literally just come in from the garden and looked at the final score. Very happy with that, but need them to miss out on the Champions League, hopefully today will have taken a lot out of them psychologically.

Before anybody chimes in with "I don't care about Fword....". Nobody cares that you don't care.

I was reading before the match that this is a return to the Euro Cup winning days of old, how Nuno is the new Clough, and how Elanga is the second coming of Pele and United were mad to release him, so I ordered my 56 page colour pull-out from the Evening Post. Any idea what to do with it?

No, don't answer that but this will now allow them to concentrate on the league, and with Brentford up next, what could possibly go wrong? Do Brentford have two stars on their shirts, I ask you?

It's nice to know that I will be now able to listen to Radio Nottingham in peace for the next three weeks without the incessant excruciating "build-up to Wembley".

(Put it on at 10.30 this morning and they were already broadcasting from Wembley Way. They were marvelling over the fact that only F**est fans were in evidence - well of course they would be, it was six hours before kick-off ffs and City have been there that many times recently it was no big deal for their fans.)

Also, what are their fans going to do with those ridiculous Wembley flags they produced for getting to the semifinal? At least save that kind of thing for the final.
